Amy M. Mali - President
Amy M. Mali is a business executive, serial entrepreneur, and leader focused on solving global problems. Most recently, Amy founded DayOne Response Inc. a company that provided clean water technology globally. She was honored by The Tech Awards as a Laureate for tremendous global impact, recognized by the United Nations for humanitarian innovation and awarded by Toyota for her life-saving technology. In her eight year tenure at DayOne Response Inc. she secured an exclusive partnership with Procter and Gamble and clients included the World Food Programme and the International Federation of Red Cross. Amy scaled the company to deployments in 30 countries and provided 40 Million liters of clean drinking water. Prior to this Amy was also a key part of the technology companies: Payvment (startup to acquisition by Intuit) and Become.com (startup to acquisition by Connexity). Amy is a sought after speaker globally and an active mentor to entrepreneurs. She has spoken at events including the Inc’s GrowCo Conference, Social Capital Markets, and several Dubai Investment Panels. She has been featured in publications including Forbes, BBC, Fast Company, and the New York Times. Amy holds a bachelors’ degree in Business Administration from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Jaya Kumar G. - Chief Operating Officer
Jaya Kumar G. is a humanitarian executive with over two decades of experience. Jaya has worked in leadership positions with both international and national organizations such as the American Red Cross, General Electric, Habitat for Humanity, Domestic Workers Sector Skill Council, Discipleship Centre, Healing of Nation Trust, and Asha Handicraft Shoppe in various executive capacities. He has a Master’s Degree in Sociology from Annamalai University and an Advanced Diploma in Disaster Preparedness and Rehabilitation from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Currently he is based in New Delhi, India.
Emily Christensen - Chief Marketing Officer
Emily is a communications and media executive passionate about making the world a better place. Her extensive work experience with leading broadcast, television, and radio companies like iHeart Media brings a unique perspective to the Mali Family Foundation. Born into a family of radio and broadcasting Emily was surrounded by the media industry her entire life giving her an edge on the business and an unparalleled passion. Emily is also a lifelong humanitarian and philanthropist having raised substantial gifts for the American Cancer Society, Make-A-Wish foundation, and local California farmers non-profits. Emily holds a bachelors’ degree in Agricultural Communications from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Shaunak S. Mali - Board Member
Shaunak is a founding partner at Permian Capital Management. From seed funding to IPO, Shaunak has worked among a diverse range of high-growth technology companies during his decade-long tenure in Silicon Valley. Born and raised in Mumbai, Mr.Mali is passionate about helping the most underserved communities in India. Shaunak graduated with an undergraduate computer science degree from University of Pune, India and went on to obtain a Masters degree in Software Engineering from the University of Southern California, USA.
